5 things you didn't know about Carnaval Festival
If you're going to Efteling, a ride on Carnaval Festival is of course a must. It's the Efteling attraction with that famous earworm. A lot is known about this attraction, but there's still plenty that people don't know. We've rounded up five secrets for you!
The figure with five fingers
In Carnaval Festival all the figures have four fingers, but did you know there's just one figure with five? You'll find it in the Paris scene, on the platform below the painter. Maybe you'll spot it next time!

A tree in the queue
When you enter the queue for Carnaval Festival, you'll see something really special: there's a tree right in the middle of the queue. This tree grows through the roof – or at least that's how it looks. A hole has been made in the roof for the tree to grow through. There are railings around the tree, so you don't need to worry about walking into it.
Jet in the hat
Above the entrance to Carnaval Festival you'll see a big clown with Jokie beside him, but where's Jet? If you look closely at the clown's hat, you'll discover that Jet is hiding there. Did you know this was originally the hiding place of Loekie de Leeuw?

The hidden picture in the TV
In the attraction's queue there's a TV showing greetings from different countries. If you walk round to the back of the TV, you'll discover an opening you can peek through. There's a short film to watch here. It changes often, so there's something new to see every time.
Sinterklaas
As soon as December comes round again, Sinterklaas isn't just found across the country, but in Carnaval Festival too. Every year, a week before pakjesavond (his gift-giving evening), he stands with his horse in the Holland scene.
