The Kikker8Baan at Duinrell is open!

Kikker8Baan: renewed classic

The Frog Rollercoaster in dune riot is officially open! Today marks a festive moment for the amusement park, as this brand-new family roller coaster is now accessible to all visitors. We took a sneak peek and took a ride on this cheerful attraction for young and old.

History

The Kikkerachtbaan has a rich history within Duinrell. The original version was a fixture in the park for no less than 40 years and was known as Duinrell's first roller coaster. This came to an end in 2025, when the attraction was permanently closed due to high maintenance costs.

Return of the Frog Rollercoaster

Fortunately, the iconic frog is now returning in a completely renewed form.

Last Wednesday, 100 selected test drivers had the chance to be the first to take a ride on the new Kikker8Baan.
