Staying at the Efteling
If one day at Efteling isn't enough, you can choose to book a stay at one of the accommodations, such as Bosrijk and Het Loonsche Land. But what are the differences between staying in an Efteling hotel and a holiday home? Here we list the biggest differences for you!
Theming
Efteling is known as the world full of wonders, but what about the accommodations? All the accommodations are fully decorated in the Efteling style, both the holiday homes and the hotel rooms.
If you'd like an extra special experience during your stay, you can opt for a themed room at the Efteling Hotel. Think of the Droomvlucht Suite, the Konings Suite or the Vliegende Hollander Suite.
Restaurant or kitchen
At the start of your day at Efteling, you'll naturally want to enjoy a tasty breakfast. If you book a stay in one of the hotel rooms, you can enjoy breakfast in one of the hotel's restaurants.
If you book a stay in a holiday home, breakfast isn't included, but you do have your own kitchen. If you'd still like to have breakfast in the hotel restaurant, you can add it to your booking.
Would you rather stay in your holiday home? Then you can have your breakfast delivered at Bosrijk and Het Loonsche Land. Make sure you place your order in advance, and the next morning it will be hanging on your door before 8 o'clock.
Facilities
Various facilities are available at the accommodations. All three have small shops where you can pick up food and drink, among other things. There's also a range of merchandise available.
If you'd rather order something, that's possible too. Both Bosrijk and Het Loonsche Land offer pizza delivery!
It's also good to know that Bosrijk is the only accommodation with a swimming pool. Only guests staying at Efteling Bosrijk and the Efteling Hotel have access to the Badhuys.
Distance to the park
All the accommodations are a short distance from Efteling. The Efteling Hotel is closest to the park, just a 5-minute walk away. From the hotel, you can enter the park via a special entrance.
A little further away is Bosrijk, about a ten-minute walk. And a bit further still you'll find Het Loonsche Land, around a 15-minute walk away.
Don't fancy walking? No problem! A shuttle bus runs from Bosrijk and Het Loonsche Land to Efteling. The shuttle bus runs back and forth daily, from one hour before the park opens until one hour after closing time.
