Eating on the go
When you're at Efteling, you don't always fancy a long sit-down meal in a restaurant. Especially if you only visit the park once a year or less. That's exactly when you want to do as much as possible before heading home. Want to know where to grab a quick bite? Then read on.
Something deep-fried
Fancy some chips or another fried snack? There are plenty of options. For example, you can head to Frau Boltes Küchen in Anderrijk. They serve chips here, but it's also worth trying the speciality: De Bengelbuit. This snack is either a tub of chicken or a tub of onion rings.
In the mood for something else? Then try De Meermin in Ruigrijk. Here you can get fish & chips, kibbeling or a lekkerbek (battered fish fillet).

Sandwiches and rolls
The park also offers all kinds of sandwiches and rolls in every shape and size. For a tasty curry sausage, head to the Curryworst-chalet. For a meatball roll or smoked sausage to go, your best bet is ’t Gebraad.
But the place with the widest choice of rolls is Bäckerei Krümel. This is where you can get filled rolls, bread pizzas and pastries.
Famous snacks
When you think of a typical Efteling snack, you think of a broodje Unox (a sausage roll). This snack is very popular, which is why you'll find it in several places around the park. There's a Unox stall in Reizenrijk, next to Carnaval Festival, and another in Ruigrijk, next to De Vliegende Hollander, among others.
At De Smaeckmaker in Fantasierijk you can get special versions of this speciality. What makes this spot unique is that you can build your own broodje Unox.
Of course, we can't leave the ‘Eigenheymer‘ off this list! You'll find this famous potato snack in Marerijk, among other places, opposite the Sint Nicolaasfontein.

Burgers
There are of course also places where you can get burgers, such as the Burger Backery or De Likkebaerd.
If you want to be sure of getting a burger, De Likkebaerd is your best bet. The Burger Bakery isn't always open, but it's always worth taking a look.
