Which is better value: single tickets or a season pass?
For many Efteling fans, it's a tricky question. Is it cheaper to buy single tickets for each visit, or should you go for an annual pass? In this article we run through the most common situations, so you'll know which option gives you the best value!
When does it pay for itself?
The price of an Efteling season pass is, of course, higher than a single ticket. But after how many visits does it become cheaper to go to Efteling with a season pass?
It's very simple: if we take the current season pass price (€250 per year) and the regular 2024 ticket price (€51), it means you need to visit Efteling five times a year to get your money's worth from your pass. With the parking pass, in 2024 you're already better off after parking just four times.
Enjoy big discounts with your Efteling season pass
Don't live near Kaatsheuvel, but still love visiting Efteling? Then an Efteling season pass is definitely worth considering.
It's good to know that, besides a number of discounts in the park, an Efteling season pass also gets you big discounts at the hotels and holiday parks. You only pay for the overnight stay, and on top of that you get a further 25% off. So if you love visiting Efteling and like to stay overnight, that alone makes a season pass worth considering.
Theme park fans, take note!
With an Efteling season pass you can visit many theme parks and zoos across Europe for free or at a discount.
For example, with your Efteling season pass you can visit Germany's Movie Park and Europa park for free once a year. If you add up the ticket prices of these two parks, you've already saved almost half the cost of your Efteling season pass.
