RC Racer
“RC Racer” is one of the most thrilling attractions in Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, part of Toy Story Playland. This dynamic ride gives visitors the chance to experience the thrill of speed and gravity as if they were toy cars themselves, straight out of the world of Pixar’s “Toy Story”.
The Concept
Inspired by the popular Pixar film series, “RC Racer” puts you in the driver’s seat of RC, the iconic remote-controlled car from “Toy Story”. The ride is designed as a huge U-shaped track, with the car swinging back and forth along it, rather like a giant swing for cars.
The Experience
Guests climb aboard the heroic RC and get ready for a thrilling ride. As the ride starts, you are launched back and forth at high speed along the orange track, higher and faster each time. The ride creates a feeling of weightlessness at the top of the track, followed by a rapid plunge back down, delivering plenty of adrenaline and excitement. The highlight of the ride is the moment the car shoots almost vertically into the air, giving you a spectacular view over the park.
