Max & Moritz
Max and Moritz is Efteling's newest roller coaster and is hugely popular with families. This attraction opened in 2020 as the replacement for the Bobbaan. Max and Moritz escape from Frau Schmetterling's cuckoo clock workshop, where she has locked them up. You experience the escape from your soapbox car.
The queue
You certainly won't get bored in the queue for Max & Moritz! In this video I take you through the Max & Moritz queue.
Before you dive into the coaster, you have to make a choice: are you going for Max or Moritz? Find out here how they differ!
Max:
If you choose Max, you ride the blue track. The biggest difference is that during the ride you'll meet teacher Lämpel, who isn't exactly thrilled to see Max & Moritz.
Moritz:
If you go for Moritz, you hop onto the green coaster. It's almost the same ride as Max, but on Moritz you head the other way. Keep a close eye upwards, because you'll spot Max there on a giant whoopee cushion!
Practical information:
For Max and Moritz you need to be at least 1.00m tall, and from 1.30m you can ride on your own. Do bear in mind that you might get a little dizzy! Max and Moritz has a special queue for visitors with disabilities, where you can take a seat in the Max train. Have fun!
