Halloween at Toverland
Heading to Halloween Nights at Toverland for the first time?
Then it helps to know in advance what to expect. During the day you can still enjoy the rides at a relaxed pace, but as soon as night falls, the park turns into a spooky world full of scare actors, thrilling scare zones and terrifying Haunted Experiences. But how do you prepare for your first Halloween Night? With these five tips you'll get the most out of your visit to Halloween Nights at Toverland!
1. Arrive at Toverland well before 6pm
Halloween Nights at Toverland kick off at 6pm with a big opening parade. From that moment on, the first ghouls appear and the atmosphere in the park changes completely.
It's therefore wise to arrive well before 6pm. That way you'll have plenty of time to explore the park at your leisure, squeeze in a few rides and perhaps grab something to eat. This way you won't miss any of the Halloween programme.
2. Choose your favourite Haunted Experiences in advance
During Halloween Nights 2026 you can visit six different Haunted Experiences. You'll need a separate ticket for these thrilling experiences. So check in advance which Haunted Experiences appeal to you most and which ones you definitely don't want to miss.
Want to visit several Haunted Experiences? Then don't plan them all back to back. Alternate a scary haunted house with, for example, a ride on a roller coaster, a bite to eat or a stroll through a scare zone.
That way your Halloween evening stays nicely varied.

3. Start gently if you're not sure how scary it is
Is this your first Halloween event and you're not quite sure how scary you'll find it? Then start gently and don't dive straight into the scariest haunted house.
Watch the opening parade first, for example, or take a walk through one of the scare zones. That way you can get used to the spooky atmosphere, the costumes and the scare actors. Afterwards you can decide for yourself whether you're ready for one of the thrilling Haunted Experiences.
4. Don't forget the regular rides
Halloween Nights are of course all about scares, but don't forget Toverland's regular rides either! Many rides stay open during the event, so you can experience them in the dark too.
Take a ride on Fēnix, Troy or Dwervelwind, for example. These roller coasters take on a whole different atmosphere in the dark. A fun change of pace between all the scare zones and Haunted Experiences!
5. Stay until the end for the fireworks show
Still got plenty of energy left? Then be sure to stay until the end of Halloween Nights! On these evenings Toverland stays open until 11pm, giving you loads of time to enjoy the Halloween programme.
What's more, at 10.45pm the evening ends with a spectacular fireworks show. A wonderful finale to your first Halloween Night at Toverland!
