Duinrell Drifter: everything about the new ride
Duinrell has opened a new family ride: the Duinrell Drifter. On this interactive ride you climb into a rally car and decide for yourself how much you drift during the ride. Thanks to this unique concept, no two rides are the same. Curious how the Duinrell Drifter works, how fast it goes and who it's suitable for? We'll tell you everything you need to know.

What is the Duinrell Drifter?
The Duinrell Drifter is an interactive family ride where you take a seat in one of nine rally cars. The cars rotate around a central point on a circular track. During the ride you can use a special lever to decide how much the car drifts. This means you have an influence on the experience, and every ride feels different.
The combination of spinning, steering and controlling the drift effect yourself makes the Duinrell Drifter a unique ride among Duinrell's attractions.
How fast does the Duinrell Drifter go?
The rally cars on the Duinrell Drifter reach a top speed of 21.6 kilometres per hour.
While that doesn't sound particularly fast, creating the drift effect yourself makes the ride feel surprisingly dynamic. Especially when you really let the car spin, the speed seems higher than it actually is.

Who is the Duinrell Drifter suitable for?
The Duinrell Drifter is a true family ride and suitable for young and old alike. Visitors can ride from a height of 90 centimetres. This means even young children can try out this interactive ride.
Where is the Duinrell Drifter?
You'll find the Duinrell Drifter in Duinrell's theme park, next to the Botsauto’s and Wild Wings.
This puts the ride in the centre of the park, making it easy to combine with other popular attractions.

Do your own drifting at Duinrell
With the Duinrell Drifter, Duinrell has added an interactive ride where you have an influence on the experience yourself. By controlling the drift effect, you experience every lap in a different way.
Visiting Duinrell soon? Then this new family ride is definitely worth trying out.
