Efteling on a budget
A visit to Efteling is enchanting, but it can also be pricey. In this blog we share practical tips to save on travel costs, food and admission tickets, without it spoiling the fun.
Getting there
To save money on your journey, you can travel to Efteling by public transport. Direct buses run to Efteling from Tilburg and ‘s-Hertogenbosch stations. Efteling has its own bus stop, so you get off right at the entrance.
If you live a bit closer, you can also come by bike. Efteling has a bicycle park where you can safely leave your bike all day. Not keen on cycling? Then you can of course always come on foot.

Bring your own food and drink
Buying food at a theme park can be expensive. To save on these costs, you can bring your own food and drink. If you bring refillable bottles, you can of course refill them at the dedicated refill points or at the water taps by the toilets.
There are plenty of spots in the park where you can sit down and enjoy your food, such as at Gondoletta.
Admission prices
Admission prices for Efteling vary. Tickets are more expensive in summer than in autumn, for example. Try to visit the park during a quiet period; your tickets will be a little cheaper then.
