Losing things at Efteling
Efteling is known for its many attractions, such as Baron 1898, Python and Symbolica. Some attractions are a bit gentler, while others are rather wilder. But on which attractions can you take your belongings with you on the ride, and where can you leave them if you'd rather not? And what can you do if you've lost something after all? We'll tell you.
Roller coasters
Simply put, you can take your belongings on all attractions. These days your bag even comes along on Python! There are a few exceptions, however. On Baron 1898 you can't take your belongings with you during the ride. Next to Baron 1898 you'll find a wall of lockers where you can leave your personal belongings.
You can also hand your bag to the staff in the queue. When you come back from the drop, you'll get your belongings neatly returned to you.
Not carrying a bag, but still want to make sure you don't lose your phone, wallet or other small items? Then you can put them in one of the little revolving compartments at the coaster's boarding platform. That way you can be sure you won't lose them during your ride.
Water attractions
In summer it's lovely to cool off on a water attraction. Think, for example, of cooling off on Piraña or De Vliegende Hollander. But what about your belongings?
On Piraña you naturally have the best chance of getting wet, and your belongings too. In the middle of your boat there's a spot where you can put all your bags.
On De Vliegende Hollander your belongings can also come into the boat with you. You can put them on the floor in front of your feet, but bear in mind that they might get a little wet from the splash at the end of the ride.
Cloakroom and lockers
If you'd rather not take your belongings on the attractions, you can leave them at places such as the cloakroom in Efteling's service building in the car park. Prefer to store them a bit closer by? Then you can use the Baron 1898 lockers. Please note: the lockers require a one-euro cash deposit.
Lost property
If you have lost something after all, don't panic! Efteling has a service that lets you find your lost item quickly and easily. Efteling works together with the website iLost. After five days, Efteling puts the lost property on the website.
