Visiting Efteling with older people
Efteling is for young and old alike. What's the most fun for the older generation? Which attractions are best to visit in your later years? We've put it all together for you.
Fata Morgana
As soon as you enter the park, Fata Morgana comes into view. This attraction is definitely suitable for the slightly older generation. During the boat ride there's plenty to see, hear and smell. Fata Morgana is also wheelchair accessible with a transfer. So if someone in your group isn't very steady on their feet, that's no problem at all.
Carnaval Festival
Travel around the world with Jokie and Jet in Carnaval Festival. The catchy tune and cheerful characters are sure to make for a great day. The cars on this attraction don't go too fast, so there's plenty of time to take everything in. Carnaval Festival is wheelchair accessible with a transfer, just like Fata Morgana. Carnaval Festival has its own entrance for disabled visitors to enter the attraction.
Pagode
Ever wanted to see Efteling from high above? Step into the Pagode and look out over the whole park. If you'd rather not stand, or can't stand for long, you can also simply sit down. You'll still get a great view. The Pagode is wheelchair accessible. The wheelchair entrance is at the attraction's exit.

Sprookjesbos
Want to escape the crowds for a while? Head into the Sprookjesbos (Fairytale Forest). Take your time and enjoy everything the Sprookjesbos has to offer. For those who've worked up an appetite during the walk, there's good news. Halfway along the route you can pick up a stroopwafel at Kogeloog. Listen to the stories being told while you take a break on a bench.
