Wild West Summer
This summer, Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen is all about Wild West Summer. From 4 July to 30 August, you can enjoy a summer holiday at the park packed with rides, water fun, entertainment and Wild West adventures. But what extras are there to do? And what should you definitely not miss? We'll tell you all about it in this blog!
During Wild West Summer, there's plenty for the whole family to do. You can enjoy more than 30 rides, tropical water fun in Aqua Mexicana, sunny terraces and surprising entertainment all around the park. You can also take a ride on the new attraction Sky Sifter.
Shows, atmosphere and water fun
Alongside the rides, Slagharen is going all out with extra entertainment. There are shows featuring the Red Bandits and the Randy & Rosie show De Verdwenen Burgemeester. If you fancy cooling off, head to Aqua Mexicana or relax at Sunny Beach.
Thanks to the entertainment and the Wild West atmosphere, there's plenty to experience between rides during Wild West Summer too. That makes a day at Slagharen in the summer holidays feel just that little bit different from usual.
Wild West Summer Nights
On eight selected summer evenings, Slagharen stays open late for Wild West Summer Nights. The park is then open until 9pm. That means extra time for one more ride on your favourite rollercoaster or to experience the park in the evening.
Wild West Summer Nights take place on 22, 25 and 29 July and 1, 5, 8, 12 and 15 August 2026. On these evenings there's extra entertainment on various squares around the park. On Saturdays, the evening closes in the Music Hall with Super Bingo.
Staying overnight in Slagharen
Is one day of Wild West Summer not enough? Then you can stay overnight at the holiday park. Slagharen offers various types of accommodation, such as Hacienda, Rancho Grande and Red Rock.
That gives you more time to explore the park, the rides and Aqua Mexicana.

Summer Nights opening hours
On these evenings, Slagharen is open until 9pm.
You can park in the car park at the entrance to Slagharen. You can buy a parking ticket online in advance or pay on the spot.
