Symbolica: Palace of Fantasy!
Symbolica is the most expensive attraction at Efteling – it cost a whopping 35 million! Symbolica opened in 2017 and can be found in Fantasierijk. Symbolica is an interactive dark ride that takes you through the secret chambers of the Palace of Fantasy.
Hartenhof
Symbolica is located right in the middle of Efteling. Next to Symbolica, on the Hartenhof, you'll find the popular restaurant Polles Keuken.
The pre-show:
One of the finest pre-shows at Efteling can be found in Symbolica. You enter a royal hall where O.J. Punctuel is waiting for you. Suddenly Pardoes appears and makes sure you gain access to the palace's secret chambers.
3 different tours!
A special feature of Symbolica is that there are 3 different routes you can experience from your Fantasievaarder. So every ride is a different experience! You can choose from the Treasure Tour, the Music Tour and the Heroes Tour. I found out which tour is best to choose during your visit to Symbolica. Watch the video here!
Practical information:
Children under 1.20 metres must be accompanied by an adult on the attraction. From 1.20 metres you can ride on your own. Symbolica has a special queue for guests with disabilities. You'll find it at the attraction's exit, on the left-hand side. When you ring the bell, a member of staff will come to you.
