Driving to Efteling
There are several ways to get to Efteling. You can come by public transport, by bike or even on foot. But most people arrive by car, so it's handy to know how parking works. We'll give you all the useful information so your day at Efteling gets off to a good start.
Car parks
When you arrive at Efteling, it's clearly signposted how to get to the car park. If you arrive at the park in the morning, there are still plenty of spaces available to park your car. Staff are often on hand to direct you to the best spot.
To leave the car park after your day in the park, you'll need to get a parking ticket. You can buy it online, but you can also get one in the park.
Accommodation
If you're staying overnight at Efteling, it's handy to be able to park your car at your accommodation. Good news! You can park for free at every accommodation!
However, this only applies to guests staying at the accommodation. If you're only visiting for the day, you're asked to park in the main car park.
Parking pass
If you have an Efteling season pass, you can buy a parking pass. That way you don't have to buy a parking ticket every time you visit Efteling.
How does it work? When you leave, you hold your Efteling season pass up to the reader and the barrier opens. There is one condition, though: you must have used your pass to enter Efteling that day, otherwise it won't work.
Drop-off and pick-up
If you're dropping someone off or picking them up, you don't need to drive into the car park. There's a public bus stop next to the car park, just one exit further on than the park's regular car park. Follow the signs to the bus stop and you'll find it easily.
Stopping at the bus stops themselves isn't allowed, but as soon as you drive up, you'll immediately see where you can stop.
Charging points
Do you have an electric car? Then you can charge it during your visit. There are charging points both in the central car park by the entrance and at the accommodation. You do need to bring your own charging cable, though.
