Visiting the Efteling with a disability
As a guest with a disability, a day at the Efteling takes a little more preparation than it would if you didn't have a disability. You may well have lots of questions about access to the attractions, as well as other facilities. Don't worry! Here you'll find everything you need to know for a day full of wonder!
Admission
It's handy to know that the Efteling offers a special ticket with a small discount. This discount applies both to the guest with the disability and to any companion(s).
It's also a good idea to apply for an accessibility pass before your visit. You can do this on the spot at Guest Services, but it's even easier to do it via the Efteling app. That way you'll always have it to hand, and it'll survive a rain shower or a splashy ride on Piraña.

The accessibility pass
The accessibility pass gives you access to the attraction via a different entrance. This queue does NOT give you priority; it's simply designed so that every guest can enter the attraction easily. Think no steps or stairs, but also a low-stimulus waiting area.
Two different passes
The Efteling uses two different types of pass. Yellow means you can visit the attraction independently and, in an emergency, leave it independently too. You are, however, allowed to bring your group with you through this queue.
There's also a red pass. This means you need assistance getting on and off the attraction. This can be provided by your group, but also by the attraction staff.
PLEASE NOTE: for safety reasons, not all attractions are accessible with a red pass.

Sensory stimuli
Some guests cope better or worse with lots of sensory stimuli than others. The Efteling has thought about this and set up special low-stimulus zones, while others have developed naturally over the years as other guests have shown less interest in them. Below you'll find all the spots in the Efteling where you can unwind:
- Fabula entrance square Fabula (Fantasierijk)
- Theaterplein + the path along Aquanura (outside show times) (Fantasierijk)
- Path behind Piranã (Anderrijk)
- Nest! (Ruigrijk)
- Field behind Python (Ruigrijk)
- Reizenrijk/Ruigrijk footpath
- Volk van Laaf (Marerijk)
- Ornamental garden (Sprookjesbos)
- Outdoor terrace at Gulden Gaarde (Marerijk)
- Kindervreugd (Marerijk)
