Step into Asterix's village!
Parc Astérix is a French theme park based on the comic characters Asterix and Obelix, with roller coasters and attractions for the whole family. You'll find it in Plailly in northern France.
Attractions
Parc Astérix has roller coasters for thrill-seekers, such as Osiris, Toutatis and De Donder van Zeus. Families go for Cétautomatix, Caesar's Draaimolen or De Menhir Expres. On De Toren van Numérobis you spin high up in the air. The park is divided into zones such as Gaul, Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, Egypt and the Vikings. For the little ones there are playgrounds and gentle attractions such as Het Treintje.
Food and drink
In the park you can enjoy table service at places including Restaurant du Lac, in French bistro style. If you want plenty of choice, there are buffets such as Het buffet van Verramsj, themed around ancient Egypt. For a quick bite, head to stalls such as P'oz Kebab or De Verlekkerde Dolmen for burgers.

Here you'll find Osiris, De Vlucht van Ibis and De Afdaling van de Nijl. In the evening the fountains and lighting are especially beautiful.
Stay overnight at the park
You can stay at De Kaaien van Lutetia in Roman Paris, at Hotel De Zwevende Stad in a Gaulish stilt village, or at De Drie Uilen surrounded by nature.

Entertainment
There's a Gaulish Parade featuring characters from the comics, and you can meet Asterix and Obelix. The park also has seasonal events such as Gaulish Summer, Halloween scares in the park and Gaulish Christmas, each with their own parades and shows. Show times vary by day, so check the app.

Parc Astérix is in Plailly in the Oise department, north of Paris. You can book tickets online via the official website. You can stay overnight at the park hotels De Kaaien van Lutetia, De Drie Uilen and Hotel De Zwevende Stad. Check the opening calendar beforehand, as the park isn't open every day.
