Closed attractions

The Efteling is open all year round, 365 days a year. This means you can enjoy attractions such as Baron 1898 and Vogelrok at any time of year.

Maintenance work is needed to make sure all the attractions look their best. Efteling attractions closed during the spring half-term are: Python, Joris en de Draak, Piraña and De Vliegende Hollander. Check our waiting times page during your visit to the Efteling for the most up-to-date information.

What you really mustn't miss

By the time the Efteling is about to close, dusk begins to fall. This is the perfect moment to experience the fountain show Aquanura. End your day with this breathtaking water show full of special effects.

Because of the necessary maintenance on the big attractions at the Efteling, you'll have more time to discover the lesser-known spots too. Take the time, for example, for a relaxing stroll through 'the heart' of the Efteling: the Fairytale Forest.

Extend your visit to the Efteling

A fan of Efteling shows? Then CARO might be just the thing for you! This show starts after closing time, making it the perfect end to your day out. You can see this spectacular performance at the Efteling Theater, close to the entrance. You'll need separate tickets for CARO, which you can buy via the Efteling ticket shop or at Guest Services in the Huis van de Vijf Zintuigen.
