Winter Efteling 2025: tips, food & entertainment
Winter Efteling is back, transforming the park into an atmospheric winter wonderland full of twinkling lights, campfires and cosy winter cheer. During Winter Efteling you'll find extra shows, wintry entertainment and special winter dishes.
Heading to the Efteling this winter? Here's exactly what there is to do during Winter Efteling.
Winter entertainment
During Winter Efteling there's extra entertainment to enjoy all around the park. On the Warme Winter Weide you can enjoy live music every day during Pardijns Meedein Festijn, where classical and operatic melodies create a warm winter atmosphere.
On the Ton van de Venplein you can meet the dancing elves from Droomvlucht every day. This wintry entertainment is especially popular with families with young children.
At weekends and during school holidays, there's even more on offer. You can then meet Pardoes on the Warme Winter Weide and visit the Anderberger Liederefestival on the Max & Moritzplein. The Carrousel Theater is also open for De Man met de Toverlantaarn, a wintry show full of puppetry, singing and visual effects.
Winter food and drink
A visit to Winter Efteling isn't complete without some winter treats. Wintry drinks such as mulled wine and hot chocolate are available at several spots in the park. You'll also find various speciality coffees with a wintry twist.
On the Warme Winter Weide you can tuck into popular winter dishes such as cinnamon buns and raclette. Fancy something savoury? The Brabant sausage rolls at the Smaeckmaker are a firm favourite during Winter Efteling.
Games on the Warme Winter Weide
Fancy a break from the rides? On the Warme Winter Weide you'll find various winter games for young and old. At Pjotrs Prijs Paleis you toss a ball into coloured squares, with each colour standing for a different prize.
At D’n Gladde Gooi it's all about aim and luck, with the chance to win fun winter prizes. For young children there's Pinguïn Pret, where they can hook penguins. These winter games make Winter Efteling extra cosy.
New: the post office during Winter Efteling
New during Winter Efteling is the nostalgic post office on the Anton Pieckplein.
Since 6 December you can send a postcard here for free at weekends and during school holidays. A fun and unique winter activity that perfectly suits the atmosphere of Winter Efteling.
