Step into Hollywood in Germany!
Movie Park Germany is a film-themed park in Bottrop-Kirchhellen in North Rhine-Westphalia. You stroll past film sets and ride Hollywood-themed rollercoasters. For children there's nickelodeon LAND.
Attractions
Movie Park Germany has dozens of attractions across seven themed areas, such as Federation Plaza, The Old West and Santa Monica Pier. Star Trek: Operation Enterprise is one of its best-known rollercoasters. According to the park, The Bandit is Germany's first wooden rollercoaster, and it takes you through the Wild West. The Movie Park Studio Tour leads you past film sets, and at Journey to the Forbidden Chamber you experience an adventure in the Paramount Pictures studios.
Food and drink
Along Hollywood Boulevard, the air smells of candyfloss and roasted almonds. For a proper break, choose from restaurants (including the Trattoria Hollywood) serving classics such as pizza and burgers, or grab a bratwurst or coffee and cake on the go. At Coca-Cola Freestyle you mix your own soft drink, and the allergen table is on the official website.

Ride Star Trek
Star Trek: Operation Enterprise is a rollercoaster with three launches. According to the park, it's the only rollercoaster in the world with an official Star Trek licence.
Consider a Speedy Pass
With a Speedy Pass you skip the regular queue and enter via the separate Speedy Pass entrance. That saves time for shows and meet-and-greets.

Entertainment
The show programme changes with the seasons. Think parades on Hollywood Boulevard, the stunt show Operation Red Carpet in Studio 6 and roaming Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob and PAW Patrol. In autumn there's the Halloween Horror Festival, and in winter Movie Park's Hollywood Christmas.
Practical information
Movie Park Germany is located at Warner-Allee 1 in Bottrop-Kirchhellen. From the A31, the park recommends exit 39 (Bottrop-Feldhausen), and by train you get off at Feldhausen station, about a 400-metre walk away. You buy tickets online on the official website, which is also available in Dutch. Through that site you can also book a ticket with hotel and breakfast at selected hotels.
