Puy du Fou

Our tips:

Take a journey through time at Puy du Fou!

Puy du Fou is a French spectacle park for the whole family, with grand historical shows, villages from bygone eras and plenty of nature. You'll find it in the Vendée near Les Epesses in western France.

Attractions

Puy du Fou has no roller coasters, because here the shows are the attraction. You'll see, for example, Les Vikings with a longship on the water, Le Signe du Triomphe with a chariot race in a Roman arena and Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes with birds of prey flying over the audience. In between, you stroll through villages such as Font-Rognou and Le Bourg Bérard and through natural spots such as the Roseraie de Ronsard and the Val de la Marienne. The park calls itself a journey through time.

Food and drink

You can eat in themed restaurants from different eras, such as Le Banquet de Mérovée, or in a restaurant with a show at your table, such as Le Café de la Madelon. For a quick bite there are burgers, paninis and préfou, a speciality of the Vendée, among other things. Chez Josette is a café in Belle Époque style, and you can picnic at tables in the woods.
