Les Mystères du Nautilus
Les Mystères du Nautilus is a walk-through attraction in Discoveryland, where you explore Captain Nemo's famous submarine. The attraction is based on Jules Verne's book 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the 1954 Disney film. On the surface, you can see the Nautilus moored in the Discoveryland lagoon.
The concept
Through an entrance tower by the lagoon, you descend into a secret passage that leads you into the heart of the Nautilus. There you walk through Captain Nemo's quarters, full of brass instruments, maps and curiosities. After a two-year renovation, the attraction reopened in July 2023, with a revamped scene in place of the old giant squid attack.

The Experience
You stroll at your own pace past Captain Nemo's cabin, the engine room and the magnificent salon with its great organ. Through the portholes you gaze into the deep sea, where you witness a thrilling underwater adventure. The walk takes five to fifteen minutes, depending on how long you linger to look around.

A break without the queue
Les Mystères du Nautilus is a walk-through attraction where you hardly ever have to queue. Ideal as a break between the busy rides in Discoveryland.
Take your time
You set your own pace. Take your time over Captain Nemo's cabin, the great organ and the view through the portholes.
Mind the stairs
You go down a narrow staircase into the submarine, which makes the attraction difficult to access with a pushchair or wheelchair.
Visitor information
Les Mystères du Nautilus is suitable for all ages, although the dark atmosphere may be a bit scary for young children. There is no minimum height and no Disney Premier Access; you can usually walk straight in. Because you go down stairs, the attraction is not easily accessible with a pushchair or wheelchair.

A hidden gem
Many visitors skip Les Mystères du Nautilus, and that's a shame. The atmospheric sets and Jules Verne's story make this peaceful walk one of the hidden gems of Disneyland Park.
