Efteling will stay open forever!
Right in the middle of the square in front of the Huis van Vijf Zintuigen you'll find De Pennenveer, a symbol referring to the fact that Efteling is open 365 days a year. De Pennenveer consists of a glass dome containing a large book. Visitors can watch a quill actively writing in the book. Hanging from the book is a banner with the text:
“As long as the quill keeps writing
Efteling will stay open forever
Here every child of man is gladdened
A memory for all eternity.”
