Right at the back of Efteling you'll discover Ruigrijk. Ruigrijk is the area of Efteling where you can enjoy spectacular roller coaster rides. Although this is the coaster zone, Ruigrijk offers much more than just roller coasters. In Ruigrijk you'll find plenty of places to eat and drink, gentler attractions, the Game Gallery and the large playground NEST! Here you'll find a varied mix of entertainment and relaxation in the heart of Efteling.

In Ruigrijk you'll discover no fewer than 4 different roller coasters: Baron 1898, Vliegende Hollander, Joris en de Draak and Python. Every day these coasters run hundreds of laps packed with thrills and fun. What makes it even better is that various elements of these 4 coasters reappear in the play forest NEST! Here, Efteling's youngest visitors can already get a taste of the grandeur of the coasters Ruigrijk has to offer.

Ruigrijk is home to countless places to eat and drink. The imposing Station de Oost houses several eateries. As you enter, you'll pass the fish restaurant De Meermin. Next to Python you can enjoy a tasty burger at Likkebaerd, and just a few steps further you'll find Kombuys for a lovely cup of coffee or a refreshing ice cream. At NEST! you'll find ’t Verwende Nest, where you can enjoy a special snack: the Kurkentrekker. Beneath Baron 1898 you can taste fresh churros or grab a tasty milkshake at Melkshuysje. Fancy a quick snack? Next to De Oude Tufferbaan there's an Eigenheymer outlet, and next to the Vliegende Hollander fresh Unox rolls are made for you.
