Raveleijn: Strijd om de stad
Raveleijn: Strijd om de stad is the brand-new park show in the open-air arena of Raveleijn. The show was created together with the French theme park Puy du Fou and is packed with spectacular stunts. You watch from the renovated grandstand.
Ten years after the victory over the dragon Draconicon and the villain Olaf Grafhart, peace reigns in Raveleijn. But during the wedding of Thomas and Samira, a dark force awakens that disrupts the celebrations, and the battle for the city breaks out. The statue of Countess Halina, the protector of Raveleijn, watches over the square.
Farewell to the old show
The old Raveleijn park show opened in 2011 and was performed for the last time on 4 January 2026. That came after more than 15,000 shows for a total of around 10 million visitors. Horses played a leading role in that show.
The new show no longer features live animals. The Efteling is also opting for more environmentally friendly fire effects. The familiar main characters return in the new storyline. The Efteling invested 10 million euros in the show.
Practical information:
The show premieres on 1 December 2026, initially only for Premium season pass holders. From 3 December 2026, Raveleijn is open to all visitors. The show can be seen several times a day, almost all year round. The showtimes and running time have not yet been announced.
Combine the show with a flight on Ravenring or a bite to eat at Herberg De Verslaeghen Draek on the square.
