Ravenring
Ravenring is the new ride in the revamped themed area Raveleijn at Efteling. You'll find it in the encampment just outside the city walls. Raveleijn is looking for new heroes, and in the age-old Raven Ritual your courage is put to the test.
Ravenring is a large wheel that spins horizontally, built by Dutch ride manufacturer Vekoma. You take your seat in one of the 18 winged gondolas for 2 people. Using a lever between the seats, you decide for yourself how steeply your gondola banks. A flight lasts about a minute and a half and reaches a height of around 5 metres.
The Raven Ritual
Each gondola is topped with a raven's head, and the gondolas have wings carved from wood. On top of the wheel, a large golden medallion in the shape of a raven turns along with it: the medallion of Countess Halina, the patroness of Raveleijn.
After your flight, you discover which of the five magical elements suits you: water (blue), fire (red), wood (green), earth (brown) or metal (purple). Efteling invested 5 million euros in Ravenring.
Practical information:
Ravenring opens together with the revamped Raveleijn. On 1 December 2026, the area will initially be open only to Premium season pass holders. From 3 December 2026, everyone can go in.
You need to be at least 1 metre tall to ride Ravenring. Guests with a disability can board via a transfer, and you can also ride with a prosthetic leg. Elsewhere in Raveleijn you'll find the new show Raveleijn: Strijd om de stad, Herberg De Verslaeghen Draek and the souvenir shop In den Ravenkorf.
